Aufgaben

Responsibility

Work in the field of security of modern service provider scale communication networks, including IP/MPLS, and optical transport (DWDM, OTN).
Overall responsibilities: manage the overall technical delivery of the ZTE DWDM project.
Lead a team to deliver a project of xWDM in German Market in technical scale, including technical support process, technical issue following up and convince customer to accept the solution
Technical solution transformation: transform the pre-sales technical solution into the practical engineering technical solution, guide the customer’s requirements, and avoid project risks.
Technical solution implementation: work out the engineering technical implementation solution and the implementation plan and is responsible of the project milestones and the contract KPI.
Goal setting and task analysis: set up the milestones and divide the engineering technical implementation plan down into sub-tasks.
Project workflow setting: take responsibility to work out the workflow for the technical delivery team.
Teambuilding: arrange all available manpower, specify responsibilities for team members, and work out the performance evaluation method.
Project plan promotion and implementation: take part in the technical discussions and meetings between the project team and the customer from time to time to work out the work plan and customer requirement list. Work with the work plan to push forward the fulfillment of project milestones. Work with the customer requirement list to guarantee the implementation of the plan.

Qualifications and Experience
Requested:

Skilled in new business development, project proposals (technical content and estimation), customer briefings (preparation and presentation), and customer support
Innovative, self-motivated thinker for managing and leading teams developing novel concepts and implementing approaches for new communication systems
A related experience of 5 years or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience
Experience in coaching and supervision of technical staff and building customer relationships

Desired / preferred:
Detailed knowledge of SONET/SDH, DWDM, and OTN
Detailed knowledge of Carrier Class Network Management System and Operations Support Systems
Familiar with German WDM project, especially preferable knowing the process of Telefonica O2 network.
Understanding of network hardware, systems, and software applications
Demonstrated ability to profitably manage and grow a business
Experience managing, designing/upgrading, and administering a network in a lab environment would be beneficial
